“Those who flow as life flows know they need no other force.” ― Lao Tzu

Did you know that each day of the week is ruled by a planet? If we look at the latin words you can see how they relate!!!

If you are a business owner or you can create your own schedule you may want to see how you can tweak your schedule and see if it helps with your own energy through the week!

How Astrology can help your week flow

1. Sunday Funday

In latin Sunday is referred to as “dies Solis” the day of Sun. In astrology the Sun represents our individuality, our sense of purpose, or vital energy, who we are. The sun is connected to our creativity, to our spontaneity, it is what gives us energy and what gives us life! The sun is the ruler of Leo and represents the way we participate in this thing we call life and how we will leave a mark on the world.  It is connected to our true pure essence and can show us how to be fulfilled in our personal life. Sundays are days for celebration, for showing gratitude for being alive,  Sundays are great days to delve into your hobbies, take things easy and rest and recharge for the week ahead in nature and enjoy the sunshine.

Sundays are all about being able to shine! Make sure to do something that makes you happy! Reflect on your desires and how to create more space for enjoyment, or whatever that makes you feel excited for life, and brings out your glow!

2. Moody Monday

The moon is associated with the Goddess Luna and comes from the Latin "dies luneas"

In astrology the moon is connected with our emotions, our inner child and how we take care of ourselves and others. The moon is linked with the tide of the ocean which we can relate to the the ebb and flow of our emotions. The moon also rules the sign of Cancer. Cancer can show us our vulnerabilities, the way we handle tough issues, our reactions, as well as what our early childhood experiences and home life were like. Basically the moon is our emotional filter in which we see life through.

So with all of that being said... Mondays can be a bit Moody!

On Mondays you may want to take it a bit a slower even though it is often thought of the start of the week it is ok to relax into work.

You are going to want to be mindful of our emotions and reactions. Take some time today for self-care or for nurturing your soul. Cook some delicious food and be sure to spend some time with family and friends that are important to you. In the evening create a safe place to process and reflect what has happened throughout the day.

3. Active Tuesday

In Latin Tuesday is referred to as “dies Martis” the day of Mars.  In astrology Mars is all about instinct, how we act on our desires and going after what we want! Mars inspires us to take action, choose new paths and generate forward movement. Mars is our impulse to start something new and  take initiative. Mars is the ruler of Aries who is known for being courageous and bold. Not afraid to jump into something new and to charge forward making things happen.

Tuesdays are a great day to start the week! Tuesdays are for action taking, getting things done, being productive, and any projects that require courage.  Tuesday tend to be one of the most energetic days of the week so make sure to work out, assert yourself as well as your needs and desires, and begin new ventures.

Make sure to look out for being too forceful, being too impulsive, or taking unnecessary risks.

Overall Tuesdays are a great day to get active and get involved in new ideas and projects.  So go out and slay the day!

4. Write it Wednesday

In Latin Wednesday is referred to as “dies Mercurii” the day of Mercury. In Astrology Mercury is linked with communication, language, speech. Mercury is how we logically organize and put in order all the information that is around us, it is our intellectual filter. Mercury is also associated with commerce and local or short term travel. The ability to problem solve and to judge what is going to be good for us and our businesses is also connected to this planet because it rules both Gemini and Virgo.

If you need to do any contracts, or have meetings or important conversations Wednesday is the day to do that on. Wednesdays are  also great days for anything analytical or writing blogs, giving speeches or podcasts as well as learning.

Wednesdays are great days to journal, create that to do list, or brainstorm any creative problem solving solutions.  If you are feeling anxious  and overthinking or feeling  extremely inspired, you should do some  writing or recording of  your thoughts, stresses or ideas.  This may help slow down your brain and ease your worries.

5. Thankful Thursday

In Latin Thursday is referred to as “dies Jovis” the day of Jupiter.  In astrology Jupiter is associated with luck, abundance, and expansion.  Whatever it touches is magnified!  It is the ruler of Sagittarius where we showcase our love of  life as an adventure and seek out long term travel.  As we explore different parts of the world we also explore our system of beliefs and the reason for living.

On Thursdays they can often feel more cheerful and more positive because we can see the work week coming to a close, so there is happiness in the air. There is a lot of opportunity left out there for the week and we can see it more clearly and take action on it! Thursdays are great days to expand our minds and focus on personal development or learning. We may feel inspired to learn something new or go somewhere new, and just being open to whatever may come. Jupiter day reminds us to be thankful for the luck that we have had and to celebrate what we have already accomplished. A day to be thankful!

6. Finally Friday

In Latin Friday is referred to as “dies Veneris” the day of Venus. In astrology Venus shows us the relationships we have with other people and most importantly with ourselves.  Venus rules Taurus and Libra which relates to our value system as well as how we see our own self - worth and self -esteem.  Venus reflects our experience of beauty, pleasure and sensuality.  It also is connected with our relationship to money, luxury, and material type of abundance.

Fridays are days where we will feel like we want to indulge and make the most of what life has to offer us. Fridays are filled with having fun, going on dates, eating delicious food, treating ourselves, being lazy, and socializing. Venus fills this day with pleasure, passion and affection. The weekend is about to start and there is more time to dedicate to our social and romantic lives. Fridays are good days to deal with issues that require some tact or diplomacy because you are better able to understand where the other person is coming from.  Fridays are a good day to look at your finances, spend and invest wisely. Be careful not to overspend or overindulge which is very easy to do when we are socializing.

7. Super Saturday

In Latin Saturday is referred to as “dies Saturni” the day of Saturn.  In astrology Saturn is the planet of structure and boundaries. Saturn is all about us maturing and how we feel about aging and the law of cause and effect. Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn who is all about discipline, being consistent and taking responsibility for our choices.

The energy for Saturdays is all about consistent work, organizing and finishing up the tasks from the week. It may seem a bit odd considering that oftentimes Saturday is a day that we take off and not work as much. Saturdays are also a great time to plan the week ahead, organize any work left to do, set goals, and bring in more order in all aspects of our lives. Saturn wants us to think long term and remind us that hard work pays off in the end. The energy on Saturdays is very focused. Saturdays are great day to wake up early and work on a side hustle or grow your own business.

So what tweaks are you going to be trying out with your schedule? I challenge you to try it for the next 30 days and see how you feel!
